Welcome to Joyful Journeys Wellness Retreats. We invite you to spend 3 nights with us on the Black Sea coast of western Georgia on March 27th - 30th as we prepare for a rejuvenating and insightful retreat that will help you begin the new year by getting to know yourself in a deeper and more meaningful way.

Over the course of three days, you will enjoy wholesome vegetarian meals, practice yoga with a loving teacher, and be a part of positive psychology workshops, beginner-friendly meditation, and mindfulness art practice that will challenge you in amazing new ways! We are teachers, world travelers, psychology life coaches, and the owners of Joyful Journeys Retreats. We have trained in Rishikesh, Thailand, and the United States in methods of positive psychology, breathwork, and meditation. We have led classes on positive psychology and shadow work, and look forward to sharing our integrative practice with you.

You don't need to be an expert at any of these things. In fact, it's best if you come with an open mind and curiosity. We are all students of life. We are passionate about sharing our knowledge in an inclusive and friendly way. All are welcome.

We all need to step away from the normal patterns of everyday life from time to time. We see this as a chance to explore the deeper beauty of the world around us, and the wonders of our body and mind. Our retreat is a fully integrative experience that offers you the chance to learn positive psychology principles, mindful and meditative art techniques, gentle yoga and meditation, and connect with others in a meaningful, holistic way. Here you will make friends and gain new insight.

We are super excited to be teaming up with Shromantic Garden in Guria (near Batumi) for our upcoming retreat. Shromantic Garden is a beautiful guesthouse located in nature, close to the black sea. Each room is themed. There are plenty of spaces for yoga, relaxation, communal gatherings, and our evening Native American Flute music. As stated on the website: "Each room is thoughtfully designed with traditional shushabandi terraces, private bathrooms, forest or sunset views, and modern comforts. We cook and serve fresh vegetarian meals every day, and the garden offers quiet spaces for reading, daydreaming, or simply doing nothing at all."

Our three-night / four-day weekend retreat was built to give you plenty of time to rejuvenate and deepen your inner journey. Whether you are a beginner in yoga or psychology or more advanced, we welcome you to join us for a transformative and rejuvenating experience here in Georgia.

Positive Psychology Wellness Retreats in Georgia

Are you looking for a place of renewal, rejuvenation, and self-understanding?

We lead gentle multi-day wellness retreats in the Republic of Georgia, combining positive psychology, yoga, creative flow, meditation, and live Native American flute music. Designed for those seeking rest, reflection, and meaningful reconnection, our retreats offer a calm, supportive environment to slow down, rediscover inner strengths, and return home with practical tools for well-being.

What does it look like?

Unhurried Mornings

You are invited to join us for quiet sitting each morning. This is simply a space to arrive. You can sit with your tea, look outside, journal, or rest quietly. There is nothing you need to do or achieve. If you'd rather stay in your room and rest, that is completely okay, too. This is a chance to practice being present without our normal distractions and deadlines.

Thoughtful Conversations

Here you will make new friends from all walks of life. Everyone brings their own stories and experiences, and here you are invited to share your life journey with your peers. We are all students in the school of life.

These workshops translate positive psychology research into gentle, usable practices. Through guided reflection and conversation, participants explore strengths, meaning, and sustainable well-being in a supportive, non-judgmental environment.

Time in Nature

Surrounded by the natural beauty of the region, we create space to slow down and simply be. Time in nature supports stillness, perspective, and a gentle reconnection with yourself and the world around you.

Creative Exploration

Creative exploration is offered as a gentle way to access flow, insight, and presence. Through simple art-making and reflective journaling, participants are invited to explore expression without judgment. You don't need any artistic experience, just a desire to be creative and a willingness to explore.

Warm Evenings by the Fire or Candlelight

Warm firelight or candle glow sets the tone for stillness and connection. We share insightful conversations and live Native American flute music in a calm, welcoming atmosphere. This is the perfect way to unwind before retiring for the evening and process the day.

Our wellness retreats are supported by psychology-based insights that have helped countless people live a fuller, richer, and more intentional life.
